PRIVACY POLICY
Clock & Fork is an offline image text editor. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app accesses, how the app uses that information, and how user data is handled.
1. INFORMATION AND PERMISSIONS USED
Clock & Fork may request the following device permissions and local access:
- Photos / Media / Files Access
This is used so you can open images from your gallery and save edited images back to your device. - Camera Access
This is used so you can capture a new photo directly inside the app for text editing.
2. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT
Clock & Fork does not collect personal account information such as your name, phone number, password, or payment data.
The app may process the following content locally on your device when you use it:
- Images you choose from your gallery
- Photos you capture with your camera
- Text detected from selected images using offline OCR
- Text that you manually type, replace, or add inside the editor
- Exported edited images saved by you
3. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
The app uses the above information only to provide core functionality, including:
- opening selected images
- detecting text locally on the device
- allowing you to edit or replace text
- saving or exporting edited images
4. OFFLINE PROCESSING
Clock & Fork is designed so that its main functionality works offline. Core editing and OCR features are processed locally on your device. Your selected images and edited text are not uploaded to our servers as part of normal app operation.
5. DATA SHARING
CLOCK AND FORK LTD does not sell your personal data. We do not upload your images or edited text to remote servers for the core offline editing flow.
6. DATA STORAGE
Edited images are stored locally on your device when you choose to save or export them. Temporary app data may also be stored locally to support editing sessions.
7. YOUR CHOICES
You may deny or revoke camera and storage/photo permissions at any time through your device settings. If you do so, some features may not function correctly. You may also delete saved images from your device at any time.
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Clock & Fork is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. SECURITY
We aim to minimize data exposure by keeping primary processing on-device. However, you are responsible for securing your own device and files.
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will replace the previous version within the app or asset package.
